This policy explains how Caseo stay s.r.o. uses cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) on caseo.cz and how you can manage your choices.
We always use necessary cookies because they are required for the website to work. Other cookies (functional / third-party) are only stored after you grant consent in the cookie banner.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. They are used to remember your choices, provide core functions and load third-party content (maps, booking widget). We use browser storage (localStorage) in a similar way.
2. Categories we use
- Necessary — required for the website to function and to remember your preferences (currency, consent choice). These cannot be switched off.
- Functional / third-party — enable interactive maps (Mapbox) and the booking and payment widget (GuestReady / RentalReady). These load only after your consent.
- The website currently uses no analytics or marketing/advertising cookies.
3. Cookies and storage in detail
- caseo-currency (Caseo, first-party) — remembers your selected display currency. Storage: browser localStorage, persistent. Category: necessary / functional.
- caseo-cookie-consent (Caseo, first-party) — stores your cookie consent choices. Storage: localStorage, ~12 months. Category: necessary.
- Mapbox (api.mapbox.com, third-party) — loads the interactive maps showing property locations; may store session and telemetry data. Category: functional (requires consent).
- GuestReady / RentalReady booking widget (book.guestready.com, third-party) — powers availability search, booking and payment; sets cookies required for the reservation session. Category: functional (requires consent).
4. Legal basis
Necessary cookies are stored on the basis of our legitimate interest in a functioning website. Functional and third-party cookies are stored only on the basis of your consent under the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR.
5. Managing your consent
You can grant or withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. You can also manage and delete cookies directly in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent may limit features that rely on third parties (maps, booking).
6. Recipients and transfers
Functional cookies are processed by third-party providers (Mapbox, GuestReady / RentalReady) as separate controllers or processors under their own policies. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
